Parent and Me
9:00 Tuesday-Thursday
This class is both educational and experiential. You will learn strategies to support your young child in having success in their role as a family member. We will explore different sensory systems and how to facilitate accurate processing. Focus of this class includes establishing a sense of well-being, ease in daily routines (including mealtimes, sleep) and successful peer and sibling interaction.

Kindergarten Readiness
8:00 Tue-Fri
This class will focus on building skills to set your child up for success as they transition into kindergarten. Skills for success will include building resiliency, self-regulation, going along with the group plan, getting used to routines, and learning personal responsibility. This class will provide opportunity to engage with equipment in the sensory gym as well as activities at the table.
Handwriting and Fine Motor
9:00 Tue-Fri
Handwriting without tears curriculum will be used in conjunction with activities and exercises to improve core strength, dynamic control, proper grip, proper letter formation, spatial awareness, and proprioception. Preparation for writing activities will include sensory strategies for ultimate success.
Ninja Warrior
10:00 Tue-Fri
This group is designed to strengthen bilateral coordination and motor sequencing skills. Participants will enjoy tackling “ninja warrior” courses involving swinging from one surface to another, scaling foam equipment, and other obstacle challenges in the sensory integrative gym. Core and upper extremity strength will also be targeted by this course. This course also supports handwriting by developing scapular stability and hand strength.
Building Resiliency
11:00 Tue-Fri
Targeted interventions to improve awareness of your child's own body sensations, breathing, thoughts, and emotions. This class will teach skills that promote self regulation (frustration tolerance, impulse control, maintenance of an even emotional tone). The ability to self-regulate is necessary for building resiliency, perseverance, and grit. Participants will engage in various activities in the sensory gym and at the table in order to strengthen their confidence in themselves and their ability to meet life’s challenges with resiliency.

Breakfast Club
8:00 Tue-Fri
Oftentimes children with sensory processing issues will also have difficulty sustaining nutrition. The sensitivity to textures, tastes and smells can not only interfere with the child’s enjoyment of mealtime but even their ability to thrive. This class addresses sensory sensitivities through tactile and olfactory play as well as a structured step by step approach to expand the child’s dietary choices. Peer engagement is a powerful modality to support the child’s willingness to take interest in new foods in a safe manner. This class will also support positive peer engagement and reciprocal play through various games and activities.
